The lower third is built with a rugged CORDURA nylon for boot protection and a reinforced scuff guard for added abrasion resistance against scree and scrub. The full Hypalon lower is built to provide a bombproof piece of gear that stands up to extreme wear and tear. The Gore-Tex fabric maximizes breathability, and water resistance. A new feature of the 2019 Sitka Gear Stromfront Gaiter is an internal hook system that eliminates the buckle's exposure to external wear and tear, and extends the life of the gaiter. A Velcro storm flap provides additional durability. The full front zipper enables easy on-and-off, and a top cinch cord creates a barrier against debris.
